It's July

I am so happy because hubby is coming home on the 2nd July. He also promised me to bring me for Toy Story 3D! Since I'm not suppose to see those horror or action movie, I choose to watch cartoon. It must have been my pregnancy only hubby treated me so nice & easy. Usually he will not agree to spend such money. Hahaha..


1st July early morning, mother-in-law woke me up at 8am. She say that the aunties say all pregnant women should register in the Klinik when they are 60days pregnant else the nurse will scold. One aunty is bringing the daughter-in-law to the klinik for registration later and whether I want to go with them or not. I thought just go there open an account so that in case in the future they need to kick me into govt hospital to give birth then i no need to go through those fussy procedures since the klinik is just outside hubby's house. 


The klinik is just outside hubby's house with a 2 min driving distance. We reach there around 9am. There were many people. Mother-in-law met a few aunties that accompany pregnant daughter/daughter-in-law to the klinik. The aunties teach us what to do and we sit patiently for our turn. After 30min, my name was call and I was given a pink book with no information on it. Then they ask me to go check mengandung by giving me directions.


There were many students so I was entertained quite fast. I was asked with many questions in filling up the booklet. Weight and height were taken by then. After that, I was asked for blood and urine test. I got a shock that they are doing so many things for me which I've done none of it in Pantai Hospital. After all the test, wait again, then nurse ask me in to check my head-to-toe. Hair, eyes, fingers, leg, tummy, breast! The nurse didn't help me out from the bed and I sprained another nerve at my shoulder. *pain


After that, the nurse gave me folic acid (for baby's brain development), Fumarate (for blood), and Vitamin B complex for FREE!!! I was so happy that I did so many things and get so many vitamins without paying anything. It cost me 2 hours time. Luckily mother-in-law is willing to accompany me through all these.

I am then asked to return on the 8th July by fasting on the previous night to do a blood test on blood profile, Rh, HIV, blood sugar level and dunno wat la. Blood is taken at 9am after waited for an hour. Then they ask me to drink a cup of glucose water to check the blood sugar level after 2 hours. At the mean time I'm ask to see the doc for my first ultrasound scan with them. The baby is 4.29cm by then.  After see doc, I'm ask to visit the dentist to check my teeth. After check my teeth it's already 11am, time for my next blood to be drawn. Then go home.

12th July, there's a nurse came to visit at 10.30am. Just to do first house visit for new case like me! She just come to check and see if everything is ok and provide some information on if any bleeding happen must go to hospital immediately. 

16th July, a called from the klinik asking me to go back for a blood sugar profile follow-up on the 19th. I need to go kena cucuk at fingertips for 4 times a day. 8am, 10am, 2pm and 8pm. They say that day the blood test after the glucose water showed high blood sugar level so they want to monitor me in case i fall into diabetic. So far so good only the morning one is high i had durian on the previous night! 

Supposingly to go back for check up on 29 July but i need to go back KL so I went for my last check-up with them today. I was told that I'm still lack of 1.4kg as my weight on the 1st was 43.6kg, today only 43.2. The nurse say i'm suppose to weight 44kg. So i'm ask to see the doc tmr again! Today also did a blood test to check Hb and urine test. Everything is fine except my weight. 

The nurse say i'm suppose to return on August 2nd to check my blood sugar level again but i told them i need to go back KL and they kind of "scolded" me because they say they need to monitor me every month. I cannot disappear or skipped any check-up with them else difficult for them to report to the doc. So hor, it's not quite possible for me to return often as I need to go back to this clinic for check-up. Plus, the nurse will do house visit every month until i give birth. Even until after i give birth they also will visit to check if the baby is ok.

We did not go back for 2nd checkup with Dr Vishnu because hubby is coming back again on the 23rd. I also think is better to wait till the baby grow bigger since the doctor say the baby is too small and yet I already done many test in the klinik. So is ok to skipped private check-up once in awhile till baby get's bigger.


Hubby's home on the 2nd and we went out dating on the 3rd! Hahaha... is like after staying in the "prison" for a month, time for some fresh air for me. We went for 3D movie, had popcorn and Japanese food. We also went survey for pregnancy cloths because most of my pants can't my growing tummy. Hubby also bring me to Tesco for 1 month grocery shopping. After a day of walking, we went home at 8pm for dinner. What a lovely day!
