Today is a great day meeting up with my best girlfriends. Really been missing them like crazy after we relocated to Kuching, Sarawak.
Time is just too short for this meet up tho... quite sad. Didn't really have enough time together although we've been together for about 4 hours. Miss the days when we use to stay overnight in Kelly's place.
Baby must be happy to hear their voices and feel their lovely touch through my stomach. They are the future god-mum!

Thought of the day
After having a nice good breakfast, which makes me feels good in the morning so I went settle dad's account in Uptown. While driving and listening to radio, I got some thoughts on the way home.

Bleeding gums & hairy me
I've realized that I've been growing hairs and hairs have been growing fast too! It must be the hormone changes.
Anyway, there's also blood in my toothpaste foam after every brushing which I find it quite horrible. Jie say it's because lack of Vitamin C? For me, I think is lack of calcium although the net says that it is normal to have bleeding gums for pregnant women.
Anyway, I've try drinking lots of milk and TA DA! There is no blood in today's morning brushing! Hahaha... Will continue to monitor if my gum still bleeds! By the way, this is the toothpaste I'm using currently:

Follow-up Checkup
Today is another follow up check-up at governement klinik on my BSP result. Went to KJ at 9am and waited till 10.20am for my turn. I saw that inside doctor's bilik got the scanner so I requested them to do a follow up scan since I'm already in my 16weeks.
The doctor did not mention anything while she scan. After she scan she also didn't explain the result. Since I'm so lazy to ask her and her weird attitude, I just leave the result as it is. I was then told that my due date is actually on the 22nd Jan 2010 which is same with Dr Vishnu's Clinic. So I think I'll stick to that date.
KJ doctor is very curious why Gemencheh klinik did MGTT test on me where the result show that I'm a diabetic patient. I only knew that MGTT test is done when one is 24 or 28 weeks pregnant OR there is family background of diabetic. The other doctor say that I'm so kesian to be on BSP since then where my result shows perfect reading.
At first I got quite disappointed with this but after thinking through, it's still good for me after all. Just to keep myself monitored. The only bad thing is I'll have to waste a lot of time waiting in the Klinik just to hear doctor say "result is OK. You're fine". I can say that to myself since I understand the blood sugar level ranging wat ><''
Anyway, things are fine for me. Still have no appetite to eat food which is cook by my maid. Currently craving for outside food so much. Will have Roti Canai again for tonight!! Yay~

Here comes August
Finally I'm in my 4th month pregnancy. Tummy is showing up a little only tho... Went shopping yesterday for bigger boutique and pants so that I can still go out with my girlfriends in style!
Today is appointed to visit Govt Klinik. Since I'm back in PJ, was asked to tumpang in Poliklinik Kelana Jaya. At first wanna go Kepong, the one near to hubby's sister's house but the klinik moved to somewhere further. In the end, i choose to stay back in KJ so that in case I need to wait for my next BSP test, I can still lepak in Giant Hypermarket.
Reach the Poliklinik at 8am and there are already full with pregnant mom. Here I do see many chinese unlike in kampung. They got quite busy with my case but still manage to settle me after all. They are not 'welcome' that I do my 4 BSP test with them as in KJ, the machine is rented home so that each mom-to-be can do it at home. Unlike in kampung, I have to visit on every scheduled time which is 8am, 10am, 2pm and 8pm. *duh
They say since my account is not open with them, they only allow me to test my morning BSP. Others I'll have to do it outside. Luckily they are informative enough to tell me that I am able to do one in farmasi. For me, I think the system in KJ is much more systematic than kampung one and their weighing machine is able to calculate BMI even. So advance.
After weight is taken, blood pressure measured, I'm directed to do my urine test. I think makmal forgot to test my Hb and they only check my BSP. Didn't wanted to ask because I see many got poked at the back of the palm which in kampung, blood is taken where it is supposed to be taken. (Dunno how to explain that part ;p)
Waited for like 20 min, then see the nurse in bilik. They don't do scan but the pregnant nurse use the deptone to listen to baby's heart beat. She say its quite small and difficult to find. She try to find for very long, in the end, she say got little bit can hear only. My tummy feel very pain after that. Later, I'm so happy that I am prescribed with Obimin. Which we plan to buy in private hospital next month. Hohoho... hubby is able to save money again for a month. Since I'm asked to do my BSP outside, the nurse ask me to go back tomorrow just to review my BSP. Gonna waste time in waiting and to get the "OK" from Govt Doctor! @.@

After we stepped out from the house, I only found out that each test cost around RM5-6. That is so expensive as I have 3 more test to do. OMG! Suddenly, she told me that she have that machine at home but she don't know how to use. Why not I drive her to Taman Megah to check with the pharmacy where this is bought. Of course I say OK so can save a few more RM!

I am so happy because hubby is coming home on the 2nd July. He also promised me to bring me for Toy Story 3D! Since I'm not suppose to see those horror or action movie, I choose to watch cartoon. It must have been my pregnancy only hubby treated me so nice & easy. Usually he will not agree to spend such money. Hahaha..
1st July early morning, mother-in-law woke me up at 8am. She say that the aunties say all pregnant women should register in the Klinik when they are 60days pregnant else the nurse will scold. One aunty is bringing the daughter-in-law to the klinik for registration later and whether I want to go with them or not. I thought just go there open an account so that in case in the future they need to kick me into govt hospital to give birth then i no need to go through those fussy procedures since the klinik is just outside hubby's house.
The klinik is just outside hubby's house with a 2 min driving distance. We reach there around 9am. There were many people. Mother-in-law met a few aunties that accompany pregnant daughter/daughter-in-law to the klinik. The aunties teach us what to do and we sit patiently for our turn. After 30min, my name was call and I was given a pink book with no information on it. Then they ask me to go check mengandung by giving me directions.
There were many students so I was entertained quite fast. I was asked with many questions in filling up the booklet. Weight and height were taken by then. After that, I was asked for blood and urine test. I got a shock that they are doing so many things for me which I've done none of it in Pantai Hospital. After all the test, wait again, then nurse ask me in to check my head-to-toe. Hair, eyes, fingers, leg, tummy, breast! The nurse didn't help me out from the bed and I sprained another nerve at my shoulder. *pain
After that, the nurse gave me folic acid (for baby's brain development), Fumarate (for blood), and Vitamin B complex for FREE!!! I was so happy that I did so many things and get so many vitamins without paying anything. It cost me 2 hours time. Luckily mother-in-law is willing to accompany me through all these.
We did not go back for 2nd checkup with Dr Vishnu because hubby is coming back again on the 23rd. I also think is better to wait till the baby grow bigger since the doctor say the baby is too small and yet I already done many test in the klinik. So is ok to skipped private check-up once in awhile till baby get's bigger.
Hubby's home on the 2nd and we went out dating on the 3rd! Hahaha... is like after staying in the "prison" for a month, time for some fresh air for me. We went for 3D movie, had popcorn and Japanese food. We also went survey for pregnancy cloths because most of my pants can't my growing tummy. Hubby also bring me to Tesco for 1 month grocery shopping. After a day of walking, we went home at 8pm for dinner. What a lovely day!

I am then asked to return on the 8th July by fasting on the previous night to do a blood test on blood profile, Rh, HIV, blood sugar level and dunno wat la. Blood is taken at 9am after waited for an hour. Then they ask me to drink a cup of glucose water to check the blood sugar level after 2 hours. At the mean time I'm ask to see the doc for my first ultrasound scan with them. The baby is 4.29cm by then. 
After see doc, I'm ask to visit the dentist to check my teeth. After check my teeth it's already 11am, time for my next blood to be drawn. Then go home.

Then go home.12th July, there's a nurse came to visit at 10.30am. Just to do first house visit for new case like me! She just come to check and see if everything is ok and provide some information on if any bleeding happen must go to hospital immediately.
16th July, a called from the klinik asking me to go back for a blood sugar profile follow-up on the 19th. I need to go kena cucuk at fingertips for 4 times a day. 8am, 10am, 2pm and 8pm. They say that day the blood test after the glucose water showed high blood sugar level so they want to monitor me in case i fall into diabetic. So far so good only the morning one is high i had durian on the previous night! 
Supposingly to go back for check up on 29 July but i need to go back KL so I went for my last check-up with them today. I was told that I'm still lack of 1.4kg as my weight on the 1st was 43.6kg, today only 43.2. The nurse say i'm suppose to weight 44kg. So i'm ask to see the doc tmr again!

So hor, it's not quite possible for me to return often as I need to go back to this clinic for check-up. Plus, the nurse will do house visit every month until i give birth. Even until after i give birth they also will visit to check if the baby is ok.
